Virtual town hall to explore how American news consumption has changed during the coronavirus outbreak
MINNEAPOLIS, April 27, 2020 – Magid announced today that Jaime Spencer, Executive Vice President and Head of Local Media, and Daniela Iglesias, Consultant, will be participating in IAB’s “News Saves Lives” Virtual Town Hall.
The virtual town hall event, the first in a series, will be taking place April 28 from 3-4 ET.
Iglesias and Spencer will share findings from “The New News Consumer” study, which looks at how American news consumption has changed and how it is likely to change in the near term as a result of the coronavirus outbreak.
The event will also feature a presentation from the IAB’s Editor in Chief Brad Berens and SVP of Research Sue Hogan, where they will share insights from the IAB’s “Coronavirus Spend Pulse” survey.
Attendees will come away from the town hall with a better understanding of the changes in news consumption among consumers, whether changes will be temporary or longer lasting, and the spending changes taking place among advertisers.
