Shawn Coyne joins Magid as Senior Vice President of Growth Strategy, Consumer & Commercial Brands
NEW YORK, September 15, 2020 – Magid announces the hiring of Shawn Coyne as Senior Vice President of Growth Strategy in its Consumer & Commercial Brands practice. Based in Atlanta, Coyne joined Magid on September 14, 2020.
“Shawn has a proven track record in strategy and innovation across marketing, brand management, sales, and operations,” said Craig Wax, Executive Vice President and Head of Magid’s Consumer & Commercial Brands practice. “Utilizing his broad base of expertise, he will provide invaluable strategic guidance to the clients we serve.”
Coyne previously held roles with Procter & Gamble in brand management followed by a decade in marketing and sales strategy consulting with McKinsey & Company and Zyman Group. Most recently, he co-managed a strategy consulting firm with his brother, Kevin Coyne. Together they co-authored a book on innovation called Brainsteering: A Better Approach to Breakthrough Ideas.
Coyne holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Vanderbilt University, and an MBA in Marketing & Finance from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
