Magid names Yolanda Parks Executive Director of Content Standards and Client Strategy
Emmy award-winning television producer-writer and content standards specialist joins Magid’s Global Media & Entertainment practice

LOS ANGELES, October 5, 2021 – Yolanda Parks, a multi-talented, Emmy award-winning television producer-writer and content standards specialist, has joined Magid as Executive Director, Content Standards and Client Strategy. She has more than 20 years of experience developing, writing, and producing compelling, diverse, and commercially successful programming.

Parks was previously Manager of Content Standards for Game Show Network and for Sony Pictures Television’s U.S. Networks division. She was responsible for assessing the standards and practices policies for all content airing on GSN and getTV, a digital multicast network.

She also has more than 50 credits in a variety of genres including documentaries, TV movies, reality and lifestyle programming and branded entertainment. She has brought her producing and writing talents to projects for CBS, HBO, Fox, and many other major networks and production companies.

In her new role at Magid, Parks will oversee and develop recommendations on advertising and content standards, online safety, and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion issues for various media and entertainment clients.

Parks holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications (Film Production) from American University in Washington, D.C.
