Mike Bloxham returns as jurist for MediaPost’s Creative Media Awards

Bloxham to serve as jurist for fifteenth consecutive year

NEW YORK, November 19, 2018 – Mike Bloxham, Senior Vice President of Global Media and Entertainment at Magid, has once again been selected as a jurist for MediaPost’s Creative Media Awards.

The event, which honors the work of media agencies, their clients and media partners, will take place at The Princeton Club in New York City on January 31, 2019. The Creative Media Awards is the only awards program that honors creative excellence in the processes of planning, buying and strategy, giving the same recognition of creative endeavor as other awards that recognize those involved in the creation of ads for print, TV, online, outdoor and other media.

Mike has served as a jurist for the Creative Media Awards each year since their inception in 2004. As a jurist, he, along with his peers, will review the briefs and creative materials of the finalists across all categories. Together they will decide which finalist in each category was the most effective in conveying the “IDEA” and how the idea drove the campaign itself. Awards categories span all types of media, multicultural and LGBT campaigns, B2B and many others. In all there are over 20 categories.

Bloxham has worked in research and consulting for over 25 years, advising multi-national corporations, media owners and government agencies on strategic marketing and communications issues on an international basis. A recognized innovator and thought leader in the consumer insights and research space, he has extensive experience in attitudinal and behavioral research across all media and marketing channels with a particular emphasis on the contextual understanding of drivers and inhibitors of human behavior as it relates to media use and consumption.
