Magid’s Bill Day To Present At Local Media Consortium’s 2020 Virtual Spring Conference

Virtual town hall to explore the impact of COVID-19 on local media and how companies can optimize their revenue streams during this time

MINNEAPOLIS, May 1, 2020 – Magid announced today that Vice President Bill Day will participate in the Local Media Consortium’s 2020 Virtual Spring Conference.

The virtual conference will talk place throughout the month of May, with sessions taking place every Tuesday and Thursday.

Day will kick off the conference on Tuesday, May 5 at 2 pm ET, where he will present the latest research from Magid on the response to the pandemic from advertisers and consumers. Areas of exploration include what they are doing today, how long the pandemic will last and what comes next.

The month-long event will also feature presentations from Beth Grossman, Revenue and Analytics Team Lead for Google, and David Grant, Program Manager of the Facebook Journalism Project.

Attendees will come away from the conference with insights into how local media companies can reduce costs and navigate revenue disruptions in the short term while exploring longer term solutions.
