Magid’s Lindsey Branwall to present with The Texas Tribune at the News Product Alliance Summit

NEW YORK, April 25, 2023 – Magid announced today that Lindsey Branwall, Client Strategist, will present with Virginia Arrigucci, the deputy director of RevLab at The Texas Tribune, in a session for the 2023 News Product Alliance Summit.

Creating strategy from research: Representing the authentic community
Wednesday, April 26 | 11:30 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. ET

What does it mean to represent the community in news? In this interactive session, we hope to come away with insights and ideas for creating authentic news products.

We will share insights from research by The Texas Tribune and Magid that uncovered this trending demand for a sense of community and authentic, local coverage in news. We’ll provide thought starters from quantitative and qualitative research to help us come up with ideas around the best representation.

The session will close with an interactive exercise to explore the idea of community and what it means. Through the lens of news products, we intend to explore how we can design news in a way that feels most authentic to the community.
