A new report released by the Family Online Safety Institute (FOSI) explores the current landscape of parental control offerings, and the attitudes and uptake of the parents who use them. The study, Tools for Today’s Digital Parents, also polled teens on their own perceptions of how these tools impact their online lives.

Key insights presented at FOSI’s Annual Conference on November 18, 2020

Magid’s Molly Ludwig and Rich McGuire helped kick off the live virtual event by presenting key insights.

Following the presentation, Ludwig joined a wider panel discussion with Elizabeth Milovidov (Council of Europe & Association e-Enfance), Ethan Arenson (Verizon) and Alexa Hasse (Berkman Klein Center, Harvard University). These academic and industry experts responded to the findings from the research and distilled the top takeaways into a global context to inform all stakeholders.
