“Family Feud” Flies High

Family Feud (5.2 live plus same day national Nielsen rating, up 2% from the week before) gonged the game shows for a fourth straight week and the fifth time in six weeks in the late summer session ending August 28.

Next in line Jeopardy (4.2, up 2%) just edged sister show Wheel of Fortune (4.1, unchanged).

Repeats of Dr. Phil (three-week high 1.4, up 8%) rushed into a tie with Live with Kelly and Ryan (1.4, down 7%) at the top of the talkers.

Although its final new episode aired back in May, Ellen DeGeneres (0.7, up 17%) continued to draw a crowd.

Divorce Court (0.5, up 25%), with new host Star Jones, jumped into fourth place among court shows. That was no threat to juggernaut Judge Judy (4.2, down 7%), which ruled the category for the 1,353^rd week in a row. Hot Bench (1.2, steady) was a strong second.
