Millennials Are Interested In Adding Wireless Service To Their Bundles

Supporting Comcast’s Xfinity Mobile announcement last week, Magid research shows there is undeniable interest from Millennials in bundling their wireless service with their current broadband provider.

According to Magid’s 2017 Mobile Lifestyle Study, an annual study of 2,500 U.S. consumers that focuses on emerging trends in the mobile market, 51% of Millennials are interested in getting their wireless service from their current broadband provider (compared to 39% of total mobile users). Furthermore, if given the option, 47% of Millennials would switch their wireless service provider in order to bundle (38% among total mobile users).

According to Magid Executive Vice President Jill Rosengard Hill. “This could be a good follow-on play for other MVPDs, as pay TV cord-cutting is diminished when part of a bundle”.
