Beth Miller recognized as a 2018 Women Who Lead honoree

 

MINNEAPOLIS, January 3, 2018 — Magid, a research-based consultancy, today announced that Beth Miller, its Chief Marketing & Strategy Officer, will be recognized on January 18, 2018, as a 2018 Women Who Lead honoree by Minnesota Business magazine. This annual program recognizes women who’ve been shattering glass ceilings, taking the lead in their respective industries and introducing new voices in the Minnesota business community.

This year’s theme, “empowering future leaders” is a fitting distinction for Miller. For nearly two decades, her generous spirit, eternal optimism and enthusiasm for collaboration across all levels of an organization have positively impacted organizations and individuals alike.

“Beth is a champion of new ideas and ways of thinking, always recognizing contributors while extending opportunities no matter a person’s role or experience level,” said Brent Magid, President and CEO. “She’s had an incredible impact on the current and future leadership of Magid.”

Beth joined Magid in 2016 from a deep and varied marketing, creative and branding career that saw her hold leadership roles within agencies and corporations. Throughout the course of her career, she’s had a hand impacting brands like Disney, UnitedHealth Group, BMW, Islands of the Bahamas, Turner Broadcasting, and Allianz to name a few.

In response to a rapidly changing world, Magid, a 60-year old consumer-centered business strategy and custom research company, has made a series of impactful changes over recent years. Notably, 2016 saw the addition of Beth Miller along with three other executive leaders as part of a restructure of Magid’s executive leadership team. Three of the four 2016 executive hires were female, illustrating Magid’s commitment to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
