Spencer’s innovative leadership builds upon Magid’s powerful legacy in local media, strengthens its position for future growth as the industry evolves
MINNEAPOLIS, November 21, 2019 – Jaime Spencer has been named Executive Vice President, Head of Local Media at Magid, further positioning the company for future growth and the evolution of its services in local media.
Spencer started with the company in 2002 as a consulting associate, then consultant and strategist before moving into leadership. He also gained valuable experience outside the firm, previously working in consumer PR for Edelman, as a reporter, and General Manager of a Gannett daily paper.
“I’m honored to be asked to lead our Local Media group and join the Executive Leadership Team as we continue to define and drive a vision for our practice that meets the challenges of our local media clients,” said Spencer. “It is a challenging, but opportunistic time for local media organizations. Jaime succeeds Steve Ridge who is transitioning to Senior Advisor.
