NEW YORK, May 3, 2022 –Magid announces the hiring of Cesar Aldama as Senior Consultant, Local Media. Aldama, an Edward R. Murrow and Emmy-award winning journalist, joined the company on April 29, 2022, bringing more than two decades of multi-platform experience to the role.
Aldama joins Magid from Black News Channel (BNC), where he served as Vice President of News and Production. Prior to BNC, he was the News Operations Manager at Telemundo62/NBC10 in Philadelphia. Aldama also previously served as the Senior Director of News for Comcast SportsNet/NBC Sports Group, where he led all areas of the network’s extensive national sports news operations from editorial to production and large-scale event logistics.

Aldama has a long career in local media, starting in Miami at WSVN. He did two stints at WFOR-TV in Miami, first as Managing Editor, then as the News Director. He was also Assignment Manager at WKMG-TV in Orlando, Managing Editor at Baltimore’s WBAL-TV and Assistant News Director at KYW-TV in Philadelphia.
He holds an associate of science degree from The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale.
