Garlick is one of 24 industry leaders to be part of the International Society of Hospitality Consultants membership class of 2017

NEW YORK, June 14, 2018 – Rick Garlick is welcomed into the prestigious ISHC on the society’s 30th anniversary.

Rick Garlick, Vice President, Strategy Consultant, Magid, a research-based consultancy, is being honored as he is welcomed into ISHC on their 30th year anniversary. Membership is invitation only followed by a rigorous screening process to ensure members have a reputation of integrity. Members must be qualified based on their experience, training and knowledge while able to provide judgement on industry issues.

Throughout Garlick’s career, he has worked with the most prestigious hospitality and travel companies in the world, in both research and consulting roles. His experience includes guest experience management, employee engagement measurement and training, talent selection, brand research, customer satisfaction and loyalty programs, image and awareness studies, and national opinion polling.

Earlier, Dr. Garlick worked in media and entertainment, financial services, utilities manufacturing, retail, association, and not-for-profit research. He has also taught courses at Michigan State University, is a frequent conference speaker, appeared on national media outlets, and published numerous articles in industry and academic journals.
