The Qualitative Research Associate – Gaming will support the Qualitative Research arm of the Game Team and other members of the Game Team in providing clients with actionable insights that address critical business issues. By supporting exceptional execution of qualitative research projects, the associate becomes a highly valued partner within the organization, providing the critical thinking and points of view to help guide client strategy.

 The Qualitative Research Associate’s work will include:

  • Support day-to-day tasks of executing Qualitative Research projects (in-person methodologies such as focus groups, IDIs, gameplay sessions, ethnographies, ideation and co-creation sessions, and online/digital methodologies such as online communities, online focus groups, and digital ethnographies).
  • Developing research deliverables ranging from screeners and discussion guides to final client report deliverables.
  • Attending in-person and online/remote qualitative research and assisting with back-room management, re-screening of participants, and note-taking on key quotes and themes.
  • Helping the lead analyst with client management throughout the research process, including proactive communications and updates.
  • Working with our qualitative coordinator to help manage research facility partners and vendors throughout project execution.
  • Advising peers and assisting with ad hoc requests as appropriate, such as reviewing documents or performing secondary research on consulting projects.
  • Up to 50% domestic travel as necessary to attend focus groups or in-home interviews. May include some international travel. Travel requirement pending COVID-19 status.

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • PowerPoint and Word experience critical
  • Google sheets and Excel a plus
  • Video editing skills a plus
