The Qualitative Research Assistant and LA Office Manager will support Magid’s qualitative analysts and the day-to-day operation of Magid’s L.A. office. Through impeccable execution of scheduling and managing qualitative research projects as well as facilitation of LA office duties, the Qualitative Research Assistant and LA Office Manager will become a highly valued team member, providing the critical support and thinking necessary for delivering exceptional value to Magid’s clients.

The Qualitative Research Assistant and Office Manager’s work will include:

  • Support day-to-day tasks of scheduling, recruiting, and executing logistics of qualitative research projects
  • Managing vendors and internal teams through the qualitative research process, including proactive communications and updates
  • Maintaining and building positive vendor and team member relationships
  • Proofreading recruiting screeners and providing feedback, as needed
  • Reviewing recruiting updates and providing feedback
  • Attending and contributing to virtual meetings with vendors and team members
  • Advising peers and assisting with ad hoc requests as appropriate
  • Growing qualitative research knowledge, including vendor strengths, methodology processes, vertical sensitivities, and overall research knowledge
  • Managing administrative duties of the Los Angeles office, including scheduling travel, completing expenses reports, ordering supplies, greeting visitors, managing the front desk, keeping the office looking presentable, and contacting maintenance support

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace programs
  • Live within reasonable driving distance to Magid’s Sherman Oaks Office
  • 1-2 years of project management experience, including knowledge of qualitative research processes
  • Strong and timely communication skills in a business setting
