 If you answered yes to the above questions and love understanding how consumer desires drives business outcomes, then our next Business Development Director position might be a good fit. Magid is looking for someone to play a key role working with our Global, Media and Entertainment team to support client needs from pitch to deliverable. You will gain experience across the full lifecycle of the client.

The Business Development Director’s work will include:

  • Support, partner and learn from our 3 EVPs of Business Development in order to reach and exceed revenue goals and over deliver on client satisfaction
  • Brainstorm with our team to identify creative solutions to complex business challenges
  • Develop creative PowerPoint presentations that showcase our understanding of client challenges and demonstrate how we can partner with them to drive their success.
  • Contribute to industry presentations and client deliverables that demonstrate our thinking, our industry knowledge and our capabilities,
  • Support in organizing target / client outreach and prospecting
  • Be interested in building your own book of business over time
  • Manage projects, including timelines and deliverables
  • Advise peers and assisting with ad hoc requests as appropriate

Skills and expectations:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 5 years of similar experience
  • PowerPoint / Excel proficiency
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Superior Organizational Skills
  • Strong work ethic
  • Familiarity/experience with qualitative/quantitative research, consumer insights or strategy consulting
  • Ability to ensure communications are compelling, timely, on brand, on strategy
  • Outgoing, positive personality
  • Proven Team Player

 Desired

  • MBA
  • Experience strategizing on pitches and creating proposals in an agency, research or consulting company
  • Knowledge of today’s media landscape, evolving technologies and consumer content delivery platforms
  • Previous experience with Salesforce or similar CRM system
