Magid is looking for an experienced Business Development Director to play a key role working alongside consultants and researchers on our Revenue Strategy team to support client needs from pitch to deliverable. You will manage the new customer experience across Magid services with a particular focus on new products, and hold the team accountable to deadlines, deliverables and tracking in our CRM system, Salesforce.

The Business Development Director work will include:

  • Day-to-day project management responsibilities, including timelines and deliverables
  • Become super-user of our internal project management software
  • Gather and analyze primary or secondary research to help provide thought leadership to clients
  • Write project proposals
  • Lead product demos to key stakeholders, prospects and clients
  • Develop creative PowerPoint presentations that demonstrate our capabilities, strengths and to support client deliverables and industry presentations
  • Create reports for clients and provide internal business development tracking
  • Advise peers and assist with ad hoc requests as appropriate

Required skills and expectations:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience as a business development lead (2 -3 years)
  • PowerPoint proficiency
  • Excel experience
  • Strong writing skills
  • Strong work ethic and outgoing, positive personality
  • Ability to ensure communications are compelling, timely, on brand and on strategy

Desired skills:

  • Experience managing new clients and accounts in an advertising, marketing, media sales, AdTech or marketing technology environment
  • Knowledge of today’s media landscape, evolving technologies and consumer content delivery platforms
  • Previous experience with Salesforce or similar CRM system
  • Familiarity/experience with qualitative/quantitative research and consumer insight
